I miss old times when playing on this time of the year so relaxed while Hon Christmas music were being played while getting rekted or rekting people and not getting mad at all, so can we get an option to enable this kind of music for our HonxMas??

Bug: camera scrolling constantly locks up

I have camera scrolling bound to the usual "WASD" keys and my main inventory slots bound to overlapping key combinations Alt+QWEASD. During intense fights it often happens that I do rapid and jittery key presses for both scrolling and using items, and this exposes a 100% reproducible bug causing the camera scrolling to lock up. The obvious result is that the camera flies the heck away from the fight with me momentarily losing vision/control of my hero, until I tap the stuck camera key again.

To reproduce: bind camera and inventory as above, then hold one of the camera keys and simply tap Alt, and then let go of the camera key and it will be stuck and the screen will scroll until tapped again.

I'm certain it's not a keyboard or "keyboard driver" problem, nor a "sticky keys" Windows settings problem, because it manifested with a HoN update a few years ago.

Thunderclaw into Hypercrown

I am in favor of the Thunderclaw into Hypercrown change. The trade offs is Hypercrown cost 500g more, and Thunderclaw procs every 4th attack instead of 3, but I think it is now a great item combo for attack speed to scale into the late game. I felt Thunderclaw did not see enough play, but will see more now.

Frostburn may we have weekly data for this like Forest of Caldavar. Midwars I understand is a staple to HON and is no stats but the player should know as much information about the game as possible and I do not see the point in hiding it. If we had data we can make more informed discussions about it on forums.

What was the reason for removing Soulstealer's "fast hands" cast-time?

As a HoN player since 2011 who plays Soulstealer in 66% of his games, I will honestly say I'm very frustrated with the removal of Soulstealer's lower cast-time for casting hands when they're cast in quick succession (by double-tapping any hand combo in quick succession).

However, I will try to keep a level head and ask why this change was made, as it greatly lowers the skill-cap/satisfaction in playing the hero -- especially when pulling off clutch hand combos. Fast hands is an aspect present in the hero since it was Shadow Fiend, and so I am very lost as to why this change, of all changes, was made in late 2019.

As an avid player of the hero at mid-high TMM, Soulstealer very noticeably feels a lot less fun and fluid to play with given this change.

Hello,

I am having connection issues with HoN where I can't connect unless through a VPN, I tried forwarding HoN's ports and it's still not working.

This a WinMTR test if it can help, someone suggested that I should change my DNS, I tried Google's DNS and Vodafone Egypt (where I live) and it didn't work, only way around is through a VPN and even tho the game gets very laggy and disconnects several time through a game, sometimes it works fine without a VPN and the game works smoothly with no FPS drops and my ping is around 110~120.

Hello guys, i was ingame already but i had no sounds, so i've just closed hon and when i would like to rejoin, i couldn't.
I didn't change any accounts, i didn't change my ip, i dont have any mod or something, it was just a relog and reconnect for first time (match wasn't start yet, i just showed my pick and i restarted hon).

I would like to ask why.. plus my team mates said that they couldn't kick me... how come :D?

EDIT: the sad thing is that my freinds won the match... and i lost 11 mmr + %leave...

Regarding Orbs of zemos and an issue which prevents you from successful gank

Hello , Element user long time no see and I hope you are doing good, well as the tittle says , orb is perfect item and I am not going to say anything about it but how ever its visual effects causing problems when you want to gank.


for example my support picks an invis rune and then comes toward mid lane to gank but as soon as he syncs him self with me my enemy hero will understand by seeing those green idk purple lights around me , so my enemy hero will go back.

it would be really cool if the enemy hero doesn't see the visual effect of somaz sync.

same as courier.

Hey I just got Xemplar to level 2, and I was waiting to get the coupon, but I didn't get anything. Is this due to the fact that the game is bugged atm and it doesn't show the game rewards when you finish it?

Returning player - Account suspended

Hi,
I haven't played (and thus login) to hon for years; I downloaded the client today but was unable to connect :
"Failed to connect : Account Suspended"
I changed my password and verified my email address but still no luck.
(I also tried to submit a new ticket in the rap.heroesofnewerth.com support but wasn't able)

Can you guys help me out ?

A suggestion about the MVP screen!

Hi

I suggest that in the end of the game when the MVP vote starts, you should be able to vote for all players. I often feel like the real MVP wasn't being able to vote for and I know others agree with this.
Also, I don't know if it's a bug or not - but we can no longer see how many have voted on a player until the end of the vote. It seems to be less voting cause of that as well.

[Hero] Xemplar hero/ Staff effect.

Now I usually don't complain about certain heroes or items. But I was playing the other night and I came across a somewhat decent player who knew how to play Xemplar.

My rank is gold 2, now there are alot of factors that be can taken into account, for example player skill level, itemization, counters to the hero etc... Now bkb would completely counter Xemplar since hes all magic damage there is also Arcane bomb which is somewhat effective

This hero is damn strong and I think he needs a tone down in power, he currently sits at 50% winrate, and he isnt used that much since people dont really know how to play him but the damage he out puts is just insane, and he can solo kill anyone. Now he can be completely shutdown by players who know how to play/ counter him, but lower ranked players he just snowballs, similar to nitro.


I can drop the match ID for anyone interested, but I have to admit my team was not skilled enough to deal with the player, but still I think he needs a nerf.

Maybe to his Q or ult. Maybe increase the damage the illusions take, increase the cooldown on his ult or Q.

Hi guys ,

I cannot retrieve information about any past match , it says rewards unavailable and that is only available for stat-enable matchmacking witch they are so i can't figure out whats happenening , tried different accounts still same ...any1 has a clue , i have recently enabled through my router high mode of protection(firewall or something ) i ll try switch it back to medium see if any changes
