Hi I would like to bring to your notice the following player ":pear:" Randoms in the picking stage after that continues to troll the entire game. I am writing in the forum because apparently trolling has increased too much now. 2 games in a row i got trolled. One player goes afk , this game the player uses her spells to troll.
Please do something about the Report-A-Player system. Your current system is not working.Remove the 3 strike rule and issue some perma-bans.

I'm amazed you haven't fixed this bug yet, the ward of revelation is not being included into the wardcount and believe me, it's just as much of a ward as a ward of sight. Both of them are equally important and cost just as much.
The solution is very simple, I'm sure your programmers can figure it out within the hour.

First of all, love the feature. The question that I have is: Can we have a preview of the icon before we confirm that that's the one we want. We currently can only upload the icon, and I think it would be pretty user-friendly if we could have additional 'Preview' and 'Confirm' options. What do you guys think?
The preview of the CAI can be the forum one, not the in-game one.

Hey I have a great idea for a new announcer but I'm not sure I have all the sounds covered.
Can somebody please tell me technicalities regarding announcer sounds like how long the sound clips are and how many sounds are there?
Also if I submit an idea will it be reviewed or is there no chance?
Please and thank you. :)

Is there an option that allow me to join a game where I don't have any friend using just the chat. Fx... how can I know the game name or game ip in order to use the command "joingame ip", "joingame name", etc...
Thank you in advance!

Quick question, if you have symbol of rage and shieldbreaker and you activate symbol of rage with your shield breaker selected in the bottom left of your screen do you still get both the lifesteal of symbol (the active) and the effect of shieldbreaker ? So with a hero like predator you could be getting 165% lifesteal while applying the shieldbreaker effect for 3.5 seconds?

I personally love the hero mechanics threads in this forum. That is something that I read first when a hero is released and that I come back to often when I want to refresh my memory about a certain hero. Is it possible that we get '<hero> Mechanics' threads for all heroes that are currently missing? I know it is effort, but to get one per week or something would be really cool.

Watching Your Enemiessss
A key part of playing the game is watching the movements of your enemies. This is also very important when it comes to analyzing your replays, as you can learn not only a lot about those you play against, but also about the impact of your own actions on the game. This part will cover what I like to look for in a replay when it comes to what can be learned from my enemies. As you are watching for the key points listed in Part One of this guide, you should also check on these points when they come up, but also do another run-through after to make sure you didn't miss any.
Watching from Your Perspective
Inventories
- Starting Items: Everyone has probably done their share of experimenting with different starting items and figured the benefits and draws of each different combination. Taking this knowledge and applying it to facing your opponents is very powerful! When watching a replay, look to see if you were able to see and analyze the lane opponent's/opponents' inventories and reacted properly. Did you put pressure onto an enemy who didn't buy much or any regen? Did you play too passive versus a foe who had a ton of Blightstones instead of utilizing you and your ally's ability to constantly lay out burst damage to get them off your lane? Did you react properly to your mid opponent having the benefit of shared regen from their ally?
- Items as the Match Continues: Items dictate what opponents can/cannot do. During the replay, see if signifying items were visible to your team. Things such as an Alchemist Bones signifying an enemy hero may be more centered around his/her jungle. Did an enemy ganker/initiator present him/herself with a Portal Key prior to a fight where it caught you off guard? How about components for a Hellflower, Sheepstick, or Shrunken Head? Try to remember if you were able to sight your enemies with such items and if you had reacted properly to them. Did your enemy play more passive/defensive with components as you thought otherwise while you were playing the match?
- Consumables. Regen is not only a factor in the laning phase, but seeing an enemy support or courier ferry regen to a hero means they intend to continue farming, getting ready to fight, etc., and don't plan to go back to base anytime soon. Looking at inventories for Wards of Sight/Revelation/Dust/Veiled Rot are also key. As you watch your enemies in a replay from your perspective, check if you could have possibly sighted a Ward of Revelation placed you may have walked through as Fayde and got counter-ganked. Check if you had an opportunity to see a bottled Haste or Invisibility Rune and reacted properly. AND HOMECOMING STONES. Knowing if an enemy hero has a Homecoming Stone or not is very valuable information that can be picked up from what you can see. Not having one removes them from being able to escape, help defend, or counter-gank. As you play and look through replays, make a habit of noting the absence of a Homecoming Stone on a visible enemy.
- Item Cooldowns. Always note the cooldown on major items, such as a Shrunken Head, the shop cooldown for wards, or the time left on a Kongor Token of Life. When such things do go on cooldown, take advantage of the situation if possible!
![]()
Did you take advantage of the enemy suicide lane Chronos not having an Iron Buckler?
Levels Enemy levels, like items, determine what they can and cannot do at any segment of the game. Unlike items, enemy hero levels are present to you at all times. As you watch a replay, think about whether your made any actions or reactions proper to key opponents getting to certain levels. Did you bring along some form of revelation to a gank knowing the enemy Night Hound was nearing level six? Did you not remind your team to spread out when an enemy Tempest had passed the level six mark?
Abilities
When it comes to abilities, it's a bit trickier than levels, since you can't see how they allocated their points and you cannot tell how much time is left on an important ability unless you've seen them use it prior. But with that said, check to see if the enemy Swiftblade was hungrily marching towards that triple stack in vision when you jumped on him bit too early and failed the gank because he had yet to use his Blade Frenzy spin. Supports also often have abilities to help them see uphill or through trees when countering wards. Did you take advantage of Aluna's Power Throw being on cooldown to take her out as she went to counter your pull blocking ward as a suicide? Watching for enemy misclicks/fails on major ultimates is also a factor. Did you back off a fight when you shouldn't have because you missed seeing Tempest ult illusions?
HP and mana are of course key factors when it comes to how and when enemies can use their abilities. Make sure to see if you had considered that before engaging in a fight/gank!
![]()
Doctor Repulsor, without full HP and mana is a lot less of a threat, giving a better replenished team an edge.
Positioning
Where and how your own hero stands is important to evaluating your own play, but the positioning of enemy heroes is important to note as well. When playing or reviewing, be sure to take notice of an opportunities that arise due to mispositioned enemy heroes. Ask yourself if you made use of enemies who wandered too far from their team or any towers. If you're an initiator or ganker, if your initiation/gank did not go well, look for moments where the visible enemies were in a more favorable position for you prior to when you decided to proceed with your attack or think about how the enemies may have moved if you waited a bit longer. Did they gather in vision and kill you because you didn't get out of the way?

Glacius turning away leaves a squishy Forsaken Archer vulnerable!
GOOOOOOOOOALS
Understanding your enemies is a vital aspect to figuring out how to win. Part of understanding your enemies is to figure out what their goals are. When playing or looking through a replay, try to look for key signs of what it is your foes intend to do. Look for their support placing wards or stacking. Consider their team composition and lane positions. Look at items and movements as the game progresses. If at any point in the match you did not know what to do because you did not see where the enemies were, consider looking for prior points where they showed hints of what they were going to do next you may have missed, such as gathering for a push on the other side of the map or countering around Kongor. Also think about possible ways you could have prevented the enemy from meeting their goals and if you took any actions to do so.
The Grass Ain't Always Greener Over Yonder
Of course a great obstacle for your opponents to meeting these goals are your opponents themselves. As often as you feel your team is tearing itself apart, remember that the other team is prone to such troubles too. Seeing such signs and taking advantage of such issues among your enemies can lead to a lot of success. Did the enemy carry all of a sudden buy three wards and run around to place them? Are two or more heroes trying to fight each other for farm on a stack or a creep wave? Is the enemy team gathered for a push, but stalling unnecessarily for an initiator who for some reason has decided to teleport to the other side of the map to farm? When you see possible inner-team conflict, try to use it! When watching a replay, consider looking at more than just the All Chat for signs of such troubles you may have been able to take advantage of!
![]()
These two probably weren't happy to fight each other for the same creep wave.
Deaths
Like the impact your own death has on a match, the death of opposing heroes also do have impact. A lot of opportunities are missed after a favorable team fight or gank, as players often don't consider them afterwards. After each enemy hero death, think about the impact of such events and what opportunities opened up after!
![]()
A lot of dead enemies allows your team space to do a lot! Don't miss such chances!
End of Part Two. Thanks for Reading! ^^

I was playing a game with the grinex avatar Slickz. I used my first skill, Shadow Step, on an enemy tempest but he portal keyed away right when I was about to land on him and, what I suppose is is animation for pushing the enemy with Shadow Step, kept playing until I moved my character. I tested it in practice mode and the same thing happened. I tried with the default grinex and slenderX but theirs was fine I think. Here's the match ID: 134096174 The time of the play was at around 37:00 replay time

I know this is the wrong section but no one will see this if it's in the mod forums. I'm just wondering what is causing the custom models to make the game break only in match making and not in practice mode. What part of the model needs to be fixed for it to function?
Im curious about all this because i would love to fix alot of these models. If not im just going to recreate the ones from warcraft 3.
Any response would be great.

I will start this thread by saying that English is not my mother language.
I have been reading the forums since 2011, the rise and fall off fnatic and the era off Clymnestra and his road to HoNored. With this said I would like to go into detail why I am creating this thread.
Back in 2011 people were complaining about the Thai people being "terrible" players, destroying games, griefing and not speaking English. This is a very harsh and racist thing too say. There are and have always been great Thai players aswell as really bad ones, just as with any other nationallity. As for now, the South-east Asian HoN scene is bigger than the NA-EU one.
2012 was the year of the Russians. They were looked upon as the plague. Even famous players like Smyger made videos about it. Having fun and laughing about how bad they were. This is a big mistake, cause just like the Thai players and the rest of the world, great Russian players do exist. (Most of them are on Garena).
Now we are coming up to recent times.
2013, the year of huehue aka the Brazilians. This was something else entierly. These fine gentlemen were the worst players to ever set foot in newerth. (or well so most people assumed). I have played with great players aswell as great people from this region.
I want you all to put yourself in the shoes of these people, having your flag represented as a symbol ingame. Your que pops and as soon as people see you in their team they start calling ggs. Telling you to leave "their game".
There is not much place to improve here. Instead of giving them a hard time, help them improve.
Present time. All this talk about how "bad" these Latin Americans are is getting old. I'm sick of every other post I see on this forum is about it. Deal with it. Help them improve. The fact that you are expressing yourselves the way you are over these supposedly "Latin Americans" is straight up racist and as far as I know that is against the forum rules, the ingame rules aswell as the ethical rules of being a human being.
You have a lower chance (or risk) of getting terrible players overall in your team than the opposing team has. (Since you have room for 4 randoms while the enemy team has a room for 5. So aslong as you do your job in your team you should be set.)
This is getting quite long now so I'm gonna end the post by saying.
Be proud about your heritege. Don't let people bring you down and you are all welcome in Newerth, it may be the only sanctuary some people may have in their lives.
Over and out.
